Wood squirrel guard included. Constructed out of Eastern White Pine. 1-1/2" entrance hole. NABS (North American Bluebird Society) Approved. Made in the USA!

Conservation Premium Open 2-Side Bluebird House - Easily monitor bluebirds' nesting behaviors with the Conservation Premium Two-Sided Observation Bluebird House. This unique home allows you to check on your bluebird eggs and nestlings regularly without disturbing the nest or your feathered friends. The durable, pine frame and classic shape form a lasting roost for these birds, and the 1.5" diameter, front entry hole allows them easy access to the interior. The sloping roof overhangs this entry, and gaps below it ensure ventilation. Both side panels open upward on the item; one with a plexiglass panel beneath it for seamless observation, while the other opens directly into the cavity for maintenance. Additional elements, such as base drainage gaps, an integrated predator guard around the entry, and latches keeping the panels closed make this a fantastic nesting option for bluebirds. A roughened interior ensures nestlings can grip the pine and reach the exit when ready to fledge, and a back hanger makes placement against a post or wall simple.
