Like any product, man-made or natural, our UV coating will degrade when exposed to the elements. The rate at which this coating degrades is a function of exposure to sunlight, inclement weather, and elevation. Depending upon these variables, decals should be replaced every 6 to 9 months. This 365 nanometer LED UV black light flashlight can be used to test the quality, or fading of WindowAlert products. For best results, compare your OLD decals to a NEW decal--at night. You will see, it’s fun to do! Four AAA batteries not included.
