Songbirds Love Making Nests With Our Soft Lightweight Merino Wool!

All the materials used are naturally sought after by wild birds or other little critters to make their nests. The mix is made up of; Merino wool, White pine needles from Northeastern Michigan forests (they have been baked and sterilized), Recycled paper shreds, Natural jute and Burlap strands. Sheep to shelf, the wool has been handled organically, cleaned and carded. The paper and strands are also no longer than 2 inch, as requested by the Cornell Lab, to help prevent matting/tangling for the safety of the birds. Our 100% Merino wool is sourced from Michigan sheep ranches. Our partnering ranches take pride in their low carbon footprint and humane care for their sheep. The Merino wool is mite, mold and mildew resistant, fire retardant and water repellent. These factors leave no worries if birds build in structures where they really shouldn’t. Made in the USA!
