A plastic guard around each port helps them maintain their form, while a perch beneath each creates a resting spot. A seed diverter on the bottom of the tube keeps feed moving toward each port, and drainage holes on the metal base allow any excess water to escape the tube. The metal cap lifts upward from the tube for refilling, and two metal brackets here attach to a hook for easy hanging.
