The RETRO Dome Cage turns a 2.5 inch diameter bird feeder into a squirrel proof cage feeder. Provide the best of both worlds; protection from unwanted creatures like squirrels and larger birds, and protection from the elements by adding the RETRO Cage. Small songbirds easily fly in for safe feeding. The 10.5 inch diameter black metal cage can hold a 15 inch and 16 inch tubular sunflower, mixed seed, or Nyjer bird feeder.
The 1.5 inch cage openings allow small songbirds easy access to the bird feeder while keeping out large birds and squirrels. Songbirds are easily able to enter the cage to reach the tubular bird feeder inside (feeders not included in this cage) but large birds and gray squirrels cannot fit through the small openings. The UV stabilized polycarbonate clear shelter dome acts as protection against weather elements and it does not hide birds from view.
