This generous item is perfect for feeding a variety of songbirds, thanks to a feeding station on every side of it. The dual hoppers in the center of the unit each hold 3 quarts of seed, for a generous, 6 quart total capacity. You can use all of one type of seed, or offer different feed in each chamber for the delight of your backyard birds. Clear plastic panels here keep the sunflower, safflower, cracked corn, or mixed seed easily visible, and an expansive base feeding platform allows many birds to dine at once. Perforated metal screening here keeps seed dry, and its powder coating protects the platform from the elements. The clear panels slant inward, keeping feed moving to this base, and are removable for thorough cleaning. Black, vinyl-coated suet cages rest on the two, brown colored ends of the feeder, each accommodating a standard suet or seed cake for different birds to enjoy. The dark green, pitched roof opens for refilling the seed reservoirs, and a cable locking mechanism here keeps it closed to protect the treat.
