Durable, 1/8" square steel mesh forms the feeder reservoir, perfect for holding up to 2-3/4 quarts of thistle seed. The black, powder coated finish of the mesh offers a classic look, coupled with the dark green roof and feeder tray. This tray lends perching room to several birds, while others may prefer to cling to the tube itself. The seed is protected from moisture by the 11" diameter metal roof, and additional holes on the metal tray allow water to drain. Slide the feeder roof up the sturdy hanger for cleaning and refilling, and use this attached cord to secure the feeder to a branch or hook. The sturdy steel construction will last for several seasons, and the generous seed capacity will keep your birds well fed. Made in the USA.
