A fine way to showcase your new birdhouse or birdfeeder, the Classic Tall Birdhouse Pedestal is crafted of exterior grade ply-board and kiln-dried hardwood and features exterior grade, non-toxic paint. It must be placed on a flat, dry surface such as stone or cement; it should not be placed directly on grass or dirt. Over time, it will weather and need refinishing. Includes easy to install ground auger for added stability. This pedestal stands 61" tall.

Note: Climate and the elements will weather the pedestal and change its appearance over time; however, weathering will add to the pedestal's natural charm without compromising its function. Should you want to preserve the finish (paint), you should select a polyurethane product that is recommended for marine use (UV Rated) that will not turn the white paint yellow. You should expect that once left outside, the product will weather and require refinishing.
