Also inside the house, a wood ladder is fixed to the front panel, making it easier for ducklings to climb out when it's time to learn to swim. Topped by a sloping roof, the inside of the home stays dry. Under the roof's overhang, a ventilation slot keeps the interior from overheating. Once your duck family vacates the structure, open the hinged front door to clean out their old nest. Mount this box to a tree or post near your pond or lake to enjoy the beautiful colors of wood duck plumage. Made in the USA.
