Heath Purple Martin Gourds have been providing homes for purple martins since 1986. The non-translucent almond color gourd reduces heat build-up in the summer, and has a longer life than natural gourds.
Purple Martin Gourds can be paired with existing houses or used on their own. Heath offers easy to clean single gourds. Each gourd is made of lightweight, off-white plastic to keep it cool inside for the birds. Gourds are all equipped with a starling-resistant entrance that can be removed. The entryways are molded with rain deflectors and a drainage hole in the base helps prevent water buildup. You can easily take apart the gourd for easy cleaning each season. Made in the USA!
