This "Leo The Frog" sculpture makes a great conversation piece!
Part of our Grand Daddy Folk Art Fish Series!
“Leo The Frog”, from the Grand Daddy Bait Company's craftsman Jerry Eppel, was inspired by his fathers work in the 1930’s. His father had created successful frog harnesses in 1939, which gave Jerry the idea for Leo the Frog. This funny little amphibian makes for a great conversational piece and is sure to please any folk art enthusiast. Our line of reproductions are hand-crafted and hand-painted to exactly match the original Basswood carvings from Jerry Eppel.
All of our Folk Art Fish and Displays are hand crafted and hand painted reproductions inspired by the original carvings and designs of Jerry Eppel. Inspired by his love for art and old spearing decoys from the 1930’s Jerry has created his own lasting folklore with his notable Grand Daddy Folk Art Fish Collection. These hand crafted and hand painted reproductions make great gifts for the angler in your life.
