Allied Precision's cast aluminum pond de-icer easily converts between a sinker, floater, or drain plug de-icer. The top cap and float are easily removed to convert the unit from a floating de-icer to a sinking de-icer. A special, patented adaptor is included to route the cord through the drain hole. Through the use of multiple sensors, the de-icer improves temperature control of the water while keeping the tank completely ice free.
